FIRST Robotics Team From Paseo Academy of Fine and Performing Arts ‘Blasts Off’ In Greater Kansas City Regional Competition

The FIRST Robotics season is in full swing for MRIGlobal’s Team 1763 from Paseo Academy of Fine and Performing Arts. Team 1763 is one of 35 teams competing March 21-23. The Greater Kansas City Regional Competition is held at Rockhurst High School. The 2019 FIRST game is “Destination: Deep Space” https://www.firstinspires.org/robotics/frc/game-and-season

This is MRIGlobal’s 14th year of mentoring and sponsoring the team called “The Paselians”.

“As we celebrate our 75th year of business, we reinforce our support of STEM education and FIRST robotics,” said Thomas M. Sack, Ph.D., President and Chief Executive Officer of MRIGlobal. “We are very proud of what the Paseo students have achieved and appreciate the hard work of our staff who coach and mentor them. We look forward to seeing what their robot can do both at the open house and in the competition.”

MRIGlobal has sponsored and coached Paseo’s FIRST Robotics team since the team’s beginning in 2006, impacting the lives of more than 150 students from Paseo Academy of Fine and Performing Arts.
