MRIGlobal is pleased to announce Kristin Aillon, Ph.D., Program Manager and Principal Investigator, has been named among Ingram’s magazine’s 40 Under Forty honorees.
As Program Manager and Principal Investigator, Dr. Aillon is responsible for analytical chemistry and toxicology for one of MRIGlobal’s longest-standing programs.
She couples her highly technical background with exemplary leadership to prioritize and organize the business side of the program, allocating resources, and management of contract deliverables. Nearly 200 reports are delivered annually with the program funding of $4 million annually.
As the program manager, she advises a team of 20 staff members with all facets of the program including new approaches to toxicology studies, where researches are provided 96 well plates of toxic chemicals in solution, customized for specific effects such as neurotoxicity. Thousands of chemicals are procured, analyzed, and organized on an annual basis.
Dr. Aillon holds a Ph.D., in analytical chemistry from University of Kansas and earned her undergraduate in that field from Rockhurst University.
As a Kansas University graduate, Dr. Aillon provides community leadership in career fair and mentoring opportunities. She serves on panels and as guest speaker to foster women in science initiatives through the KU outreach programs. In collaboration with MRIGlobal clients, Kristin prepares posters or technical papers and presents the research at scientific conferences.
