MRIGlobal Announces New Board Positions

Includes New Chairman, Vice Chairman, and Two New Members

Kansas City, Mo.: (Oct. 3, 2023) – MRIGlobal has announced a new Chairman of the Board and a new Vice Chairman of the Board, and the addition of two new Board members. These additions follow the institute’s most recent Board meeting in August.

Our new Board Chairman, Vice Chairman, and new Board members bring with them the experience to help propel that vision forward,” said Dr. Ian M. Colrain, President & CEO, MRIGlobal. “By asking that they serve not only traditional Board roles of providing oversight and guidance, but also to challenge our leadership team and the entire institute, they will help us innovate that vision into reality.”

Pamela R. Berneking, Retired Chief Commercial Officer, CommunityAmerica Credit Union, has been named Chairman of the MRIGlobal Board of Directors. Before her retirement, Berneking was responsible for building and leading the credit union’s boutique commercial banking division, delivering comprehensive banking solutions to business and investors throughout the Kansas City area. She is also on the board of the American Heart Association for Kansas City and an investor in early-stage companies.

David E. Hall, Executive Vice Chairman, Hallmark Cards, Inc. Board of Directors, has been named Vice Chairman of the MRIGlobal Board of Directors. Hall, a grandson of the company’s founder, Joyce C. Hall, joined Hallmark in 1981. He has held management positions in sales administration, finance, and order distribution. Hall also serves on the board of directors for the Kansas City Area Development Council (KCADC), the Greater KC Chamber of Commerce, and St. Luke’s Hospital. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees for Davidson College.

Steffanie Easter, Senior Vice President and Chief Sustainability Officer, Cobham Advanced Electronic Solutions (CAES), has been named to the MRIGlobal Board of Directors. She is responsible for the overall sustainability efforts at CAES to drive best practices across key elements of environmental, social and governance standards, and support related strategic engagements with industry peers and customers. While previously with SAIC, she led the strategic growth and development within the defense and civilian sector. She also served as the Director, Navy Staff for the U.S. Navy, becoming the first civilian to hold the position.

Wendy Masiello, retired Lieutenant General from the United States Air Force and President of Wendy Mas Consulting, has been named to the MRIGlobal Board of Directors. After serving for 36 years in the USAF, Masiello is now president of her own consulting company. She also remains active as a Fellow and Board member of the National Contract Management Association and serves on several senior advisory boards and councils. Prior to her retirement, she was Director for the Defense Contract Management Agency, where she managed a $1.4 billion budget and 12,000 people around the world.
