R. Thomas Fleener

As Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, Tom directs MRIGlobal’s overall strategic business and financial planning and provides comprehensive financial and logistical support. He is responsible for the Finance and Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis, Risk Management, Contracts and Pricing, Information Technology, Purchasing and Materials Management, and Facilities Management departments.

Tom serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Alliance for Sustainable Energy LLC, which holds the contract to manage and operate the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in Golden, Colorado, for the U.S. Department of Energy.

Tom joined MRIGlobal in 2009. Before coming to MRIGlobal, he served as Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategic Initiatives at Aquila Inc. Before Aquila, he held key positions with Verizon Communications Inc., Arthur Andersen (Accenture), and Procter & Gamble Co.
