Vice President of Commercial Business Development
As Vice President of Commercial Business Development, Dominie builds on the strong foundation established by her team and predecessors in developing MRIGlobal’s commercial business across all four Business Units.
Dominie works closely with our business unit leaders, technical leaders, and staff throughout the organization to bring a collaborative and service-oriented approach to Business Development. She combines her practical experience and previous commercial corporate work with a deep knowledge of organizational design, strategy, and change. She has published in those fields and spent several years researching, teaching corporate executives and graduate students, as well as undergraduates, and in individual consulting.
Dominie joined MRIGlobal in spring of 2021, coming to the institute after working for several large research contracting organizations. In the early 2000s, she spent several years focused on entrepreneurship, working with small startups to secure financing, along with some time at AOL Time Warner during the merger. She then continued to explore her interest in business, management, leadership, strategy, and organizational change with a Ph.D. from Georgia Tech and four years as a professor at the Lucas College of Business at San Jose State University. Segueing to contracting, Dominie joined Booz Allen in 2010 and spent seven years there leading projects and business development in the infrastructure and advanced transportation technology areas. She was most recently with Battelle, where she spent four years focused on business development in the smart cities and health areas.
