Amy Nachtigal

She has served as Chief Financial Officer of Saint Luke’s Health System’s (SLHS) Central Region since 2011, which includes SLHS’s flagship hospital, Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City.

Since joining Saint Luke’s in 1999, she has been responsible for and participated in a broad array of activities, including capital structure planning and implementation, acquisitions, and divestitures. In addition to traditional finance functions, Nachtigal has supported construction and facilities, information technology, and materials management at the locations for which she has been responsible.

Nachtigal started her career in public accounting, working first for Arthur Andersen LLP in Kansas City and Toronto, Canada. After returning to Kansas City, she joined Ernst & Young LLP, where she remained until joining Saint Luke’s Health System.

She is a CPA and is involved in several civic and professional organizations, including the National Charity League, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Healthcare Financial Management Association. She serves on various boards, including the Kansas City Orthopaedic Institute, LifeFlight Eagle, and Medical Plaza Partners.
