Julie Wilson

Julie Wilson was named to the MRIGlobal Board of Directors in 2020. She currently serves as Chief People Officer for Clarivate, a global leader in insights and analytics. Wilson joined Clarivate in April 2021 with responsibility for global HR strategy and operations, talent management and development, and organization effectiveness. She has extensive experience in the complete talent lifecycle and a deep commitment to a creating an organizational culture that is both supportive and high-performance.

Prior to joining Clarivate, Wilson had been the Chief People Officer for Cerner Corporation, an industry leader in health care and information technology, supporting the company’s growth and expansion during her tenure.

Preceding her time at Cerner, Wilson was the business manager for the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) athletics department where she assisted with the movement of the athletics program from the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics to National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I.

As an active citizen in the Kansas City and women’s leadership community, Wilson currently serves on community and non-profit boards including the National World War I Museum Board of Trustees, Stowers Resource Management Board of Directors, and Powell Gardens Board of Directors.

Wilson holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and is a member of Kansas City’s “Women Who Mean Business,” as selected by the Kansas City Business Journal 2014 to present. She was also named as one of Kansas City’s “Power 100” by the Kansas City Business Journal in 2017, 2018, and 2019.
