MRIGlobal Supports New Web-Based Food Safety Program
As Consultant to FoodQuestTQ, MRIGlobal Experts Work For Improved Food Safety
(Kansas City, MO) July 10, 2012 – MRIGlobal today announced a strategic collaboration with FoodQuestTQ LLC, a Frederick, Md.-based firm offering a new web-based portal and services to manage risk in food production, processing, logistics, and retailing.
FoodQuestTQ is launching three software tools – Food Mapper TQ, Food Defense TQ, and Food Safety TQ – from its “National Food Protection Collaboratory Portal.” These tools are designed for small- to medium-sized food companies, providing a database of up-to-date regulations and standards; information on food safety issues like recalls or accidental food poisonings; and a platform to assess and manage risks in food safety.
FoodQuestTQ also operates the International School for Food Protection, which provides training to become a Certified Food Protection Professional.
MRIGlobal's subject matter experts and laboratory research teams assist FoodQuestTQ customers with meeting their business, safety and security goals. In addition, FoodQuestTQ has also partnered with Leavitt Partners, based in Salt Lake City, Utah, for health intelligence and predictive modeling.
