Experimental data, when used in conjunction with state-of-the-art modeling, increases model accuracy, reliability, and confidence through measured boundary conditions and experimental validation.
When used in conjunction with CFD, on-site data provides more accurate boundary conditions as well as a way to validate and bound CFD model accuracy.

MRIGlobal’s site-specific wind mapping capabilities provide the capacity to both experimentally and numerically assess, visualize, and readily interpret the data associated with complex airflow patterns. MRIGlobal’s wind mapping approaches are especially useful at locations with arrays of structures on arbitrary terrain, such as atmospheric airflows over industrial sites.
