Additionally, MRIGlobal serves industry, covering the pharmaceutical, veterinary medicine, and biotechnology business sectors; and academia, including many of the nation’s leading universities.

lab photoMRIGlobal has approximately 30,000 square feet of state-of-the-art laboratory space, ranging from Biosafety Level 2 (BSL-2) to enhanced aBSL-3  labs, located in the Institute’s facilities in Kansas, Missouri, Maryland, and Florida.

MRIGlobal’s laboratories are licensed and certified to meet stringent government and industry criteria including Good Laboratory Practice/Good Manufacturing Practice; CDC Select Agent Certification; registration with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services; and Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments, among others.

MRIGlobal also works at client locations and government facilities, including supporting the National Institutes of Health’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, and the government’s bio-defense laboratories at Fort Detrick, Maryland.

lab photoCapitalizing on our rich history and renowned scientific expertise, MRIGlobal has established several Centers of Excellence with specialized laboratories and services, including the Center for Influenza Virus Research; PCR Test, Evaluation and Validation Center; and a Center for Clinical Molecular Diagnostics.

MRIGlobal manages unique facilities for small molecule synthesis and complex chemical services such as novel synthesis route design, radiolabeled and stable isotope-labeled compound synthesis, and comprehensive analytical support for product testing and characterizations.

Additionally, MRIGlobal operates the Chemical Carcinogen Reference Standards Repository for the National Cancer Institute.
