MRIGlobal’s highly trained analysts have sampled and provided analysis of hundreds of thousands of samples and have deep expertise in the development, validation, and promulgation and codifying of sampling and analysis methods.

MRIGlobal uses this expertise to deliver special purpose sampling, such as niche application support, custom packaging of sampler devices, and sampling devices for rugged-use scenarios. MRIGlobal can customize samplers to fit particular needs for sampling air, water, solids, and biological materials.

 MRIGlobal’s Special Purpose Sampler Design and Development Successes:

  • Proprietary Sampling device: MRIGlobal developed a special-purpose sampling solution, a  portable device for detection of micron-sized particles, airborne biological particulates, toxic industrial chemicals (TIC) and toxic industrial materials (TIM). This device is used in indoor air-quality monitoring, and infectious disease investigations in public buildings, among other uses.

  • Evaluation of field monitoring equipment: MRIGlobal has evaluated continuous monitoring instruments for hazardous air pollutants (HAP), TIC and TIM emissions, assisted military users in extreme conditions, and delivered performance evaluations on instruments. 

  • High-Volume Chemical Sampler: MRIGlobal developed a proprietary air collection sampler for accurate measurement of nanogram quantities of volatile chemical vapors. This filter, which can be used as a passive sampling device or in concert with a high-volume pump, demonstrates precise and linear results over a range of concentrations, collection times, and environmental conditions.
