 Center for Biological Safety and Security (CBS2)

CBS2 provides planning, organization, maintenance, logistics, training, and facility design and construction support services related to bio-containment facilities, biological safety, and biological facility security.

Center for Influenza Virus Research

influenza graphicThis Center provides services to support vaccine studies specific to influenza-virus work, including highly pathogenic avian influenza virus (HPAIV) H5N1 and H1N1 strains. The Center’s staff has extensive expertise working with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), National Institutes of Health (NIH), and the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.

 Center for Integrated Algal Research

By drawing on a staff of highly credentialed chemists, biologists, and engineers, this Center focuses on research and technology development associated with identifying and optimizing algal species for carbon dioxide sequestration and biofuel production.

  PCR Test, Evaluation, and Validation (TEV) Center
