When the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) needed a mobile laboratory several years ago that could test for a wide range of bio/chem agents quickly and accurately, MRIGlobal set up a workshop in its parking lot. The goal was to design and construct a mobile lab that could tell first responders what was contaminated and what was not following a bio/chem incident. 

MRIGlobal went to work on what DHS later determined was the fastest, most accurate mobile lab in the country. Our Portable High-Throughput Integrated Laboratory System was capable of processing 500 samples a day from virtually any type of substance.

Currently MRIGlobal designs, builds, and deploys mobile laboratories. MRIGlobal is supporting the Department of Defense’s mobile laboratory program. This past year, MRIGlobal received a significant expansion of the project, which includes managing teams to design, fabricate, integrate, and operate labs around the globe.
